Resolute Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing company based in Coventry. This will be a permanent position, within an exciting manufacturing business that are experiencing a lot of growth.
Production Supervisor
Location: Coventry

**Salary**:

- £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
The Job:

- For the role of Production Supervisor, you will be managing various sections within the shop floor.
- Responsible for the health & Safety of the employee
- Monitoring productivity, ensuring work is being carried out efficiently and to the correct quality standard
- Ensuring work is ready for the next job on the sections, including parts, paperwork and equipment
- Moving work on to the next required sections
- Preparing work for the next shift in line with the production priority list
- Preparing finished product so it is ready to be dispatched to the distribution centre the next morning
- Updating the production priority list with progress made during the shift
- Recruitment, inductions, development and training, building a strong and flexible team is required for the Production Supervisor role.
- Clear and concise communication to the opposing shifts
- For the role of Production Supervisor, you will be maintaining high standards with process and quality adherence, managing issues as they arise demonstrating sound decision making skills.
- Key holder with full responsibility for the closure of the site at the end of the shift
- Responsible for the health & Safety of the people and the site
Job Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar management role is required for the Production Supervisor role.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of a shop floor environment.
- Personally motivated and be able to motivate others.
- Good communication skills and can work well as part of a team.
- A desire to develop and improve products and processes is required for the Production Supervisor role.
Shift pattern:

- Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm and 11am - 4pm on Friday - flexibility to this is required
