**Accounts Assistant**
- Our client is an SME, providing construction services across UK. The Finance team are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for assisting with timely recording of sales/purchases. The role requires good analytical skills and attention to detail. You will need good organisational and interpersonal skills to develop a working relationship with our suppliers. You will possess the ability to work to tight deadlines and meet strict reporting deadlines. You will be provided with 'on the job’ training and progression opportunities. The role will provide you with a good understanding of the management reporting function as well as an insight into the statutory reporting requirements.

**Accounts Assistant**
- Liaising with the commercial team to ensure sales invoices raised and issued to client's in a timely manner.
- Liaising with the procurement team to ensure expenses/overheads are appropriately authorised and categorised.
- Match purchase invoices to purchase orders and raise queries.
- Recording of Sales, purchase, expense invoices on Eque2 Sage construct and process timely import to Sage Line 50 for accounting purposes.
- Coding of invoices to project cards and departmental codes on Eque2 Sage construct.
- Assisting with preparation of subcontractor payment runs and cross confirm signoff’s for day rate subcontractors.

**Accounts Assistant**
- Maintaining purchase ledgers on Sage Line 50 and carry out monthly reconciliations to supplier statements.
- Taking ownership of Cash book maintenance and assist with bank reconciliations.
- Scanning purchase invoices to Eque2 Construct using Spindle document manager.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly CIS returns & quarterly VAT reports.
- Basic administration and filing to maintain records.
- Assisting the accounts team with any ad hoc duties and analytical work for reporting purposes.
- **Immediate interviews including TEAMS/ZOOM as appropriate.**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
