Financial Systems Analyst

A global market leading company are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to serve as developer and trainer helping implement system solutions that advance the financial planning platform. The person in this role will continuously seek to improve existingmethods and processes. Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing models.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work collaboratively with technology and business groups to conceive, design, engineer, and implement data, software, and technology solutions that solve significant scientific or business problems. Investigate, identify, and implement state-of-the-arttechnology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains in own function and throughout multiple business areas.
- Contribute to advancement of technology in area of expertise. Develop productive collaborations and communications with other groups across multiple disciplines.
- Support Symbol/dimension management, metadata design/maintenance, and data validation processes as part of Financial Planning Systems.
- Work with management to further develop forecasting tools (i.e. Longview) to satisfy business requirements.
- Develop technical design specifications and analyse data to create data structures, dimensions, and measures.
- Data Modelling, design and implementation based on best practices and recognized standards.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
- Validate AGN data and accuracy in Longview
- Identify source of variance root cause
- Propose solutions
- Month End / LBE / LRP / Budget cycles
- Train AGN users to use Longview
- Automate business processes
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of finance/accounting experience. Preferably gained in FP&A setting
- Strong team building skills; ability to set and align goals/priorities.
- Strong business partnership skills and team-oriented nature.
- Experience supporting and presenting to senior business and finance leaders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities (across different time zones) to achieve results and meet deadlines.
- Strong sense of initiative & inquisitive self-starter.
- Disposition to generate ideas and embrace the ideas of others to manage innovation to reality.
- Knowledge of finance systems and business processes essential.
