**The vacancy**

We're seeking a dedicated and dynamic Computing Lecturer to join our team and contribute to the success of our students. If you have a strong background in computing, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a desire to make a real difference in students' lives, we want to hear from you.
Some of the Key Responsibilities:
- **Curriculum Development**: Take the lead in developing engaging and effective curriculum materials, ensuring that learning objectives are met and student achievement is accurately assessed and recorded.
- **Programme Management**: Contribute to the management of learning programmes, ensuring quality assurance and providing guidance and support to students through effective assessment methods, coaching, mentoring, and administration.
- **Course Leadership and Research**: Play a key role in course verification, leadership, and research/consultancy activities, contributing to the enhancement of the overall learning experience.
- **Accountability**: Take on increasing levels of responsibility by coordinating course teams and students within a specific programme area, ensuring the effective delivery of curriculum and maintaining high standards.
- **Teaching and Assessment**: Manage the classroom environment effectively, delivering engaging lectures and practical sessions across a range of further and higher education courses. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
This role is permanent, part time (3 days per week

**Lets Teach Programme**
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.
**Let’s Bloom**
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
