**Veterinary Specialists Scotland is a purpose-built, multi-disciplinary referral centre in the heart** of Sc**otland. Since opening in October 2020, we have expanded from 8 to 17 specialists and residency-trained clinicians across eight clinical disciplines. Our building has huge potential for expansion and the clinic is still growing and developing. We have opportunity for a position within the cardiology service, full time or part time will be considered.**

You will join one other EBVS® Specialist in Cardiology. You will be supported by an established team of internal medicine specialists, as well as anaesthetists, soft tissue surgeons, diagnostic imagers, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, an ECC Specialist, and a dermatologist.

The busy cardiology case load is varied and includes both external referrals and internal case transfers. We have a well-equipped cardiology suite and the capacity to perform cardiac interventional procedures with state-of-the-art equipment and a team of nurses to support these procedures.

Based in Livingston, Veterinary Specialists Scotland is located near to the City of Edinburgh, but also has excellent transport links to Glasgow. It is also only 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport. Edinburgh is a beautiful and vibrant city, famous for its festival and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the cities have much to offer, for those who prefer the great outdoors mountains, countryside and coastline are all within easy reach.
