We are looking for a hands-on supervisor primarily based in our frying department but with flexibility to support other production areas as and when required.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

- Operational activities to support the department reaching optimum results such as correct quantity and quality of product is despatched on time and in accordance with all H&S, food safety and hygiene standards
- Managing information using our ERP system including completing tasks such as setting up jobs on system and ensuring the system is correctly updated and jobs are completed and closed on the ERP system.
- Processing personal information and data in line with GDPR and the company's information policies.
- Effectively managing people in the production area

**The Person**:

- A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in a food production environment including frying experience
- A minimum of 1 year's supervisory experience
- Good communication, interpersonal and delegation skills and the ability to effectively interact with and motivate staff at all levels
- Effective planning and organisational skills
- Effective decision making skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving
- The ability to work on own initiative within minimum supervision
- A general awareness of food hygiene, health and safety and quality
- A flexible approach to working hours
- A good basic standard of computer literacy and a good standard of literacy and numerical skills will be essential for this role as it involves calculating figures, data entry, records etc.

**About The Role**

Main duties will focus on the supervisory management of:

- Health and Safety
- Quality, Food Hygiene and Food Safety
- People Planning and management
- Performance management
- Planning Production

This is a permanent full-time vacancy which will include day shift hours (6:30am starts) with regular Saturday work on rotation. Flexibility is required as evening shift work (Monday to Friday, 2.00pm - 12am approximately) may also be required.

Pay Rate **£13.29**

Other benefits:
Shift bonus £10 paid per evening shift
Overtime rate of 1.5 pay rate applied on any hours worked over 40 hours.

**Required Criteria**
- Relevant supervisory, chargehand or team leading experience, gained in a food production environment,
