**About the team?**

The Retail Accounting Team is a very busy team, the main purpose is to reconcile the cash shift data from Stations and Onboard colleagues, and help and support the stations if they have queries.

**About the job?**

As a Retail Accounting Assistant, you will assist in the preparation, maintenance, control and reporting of the Retail Accounting Operations.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Maintain the day-to-day records of the Retail Accounting operations.
- Input and validate revenue and other data from source documents in accordance with the laid down procedures.
- Identify and report differences on the daily shift summary and other records to the Retail Accounting Supervisor.
- Processing of passenger and season ticket refund requests on a timely basis.
- Carry out other day to day clerical work and ad-hoc investigations as required and assist as directed
- Reconciliations
- Liaison with stations to resolve shift sheet queries

**As a minimum you'll need to have**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Good numerical ability
- Good attention to detail

**About the location?**

The role is based at Milford House in Swindon

**Working Pattern?**

The role requires Monday to Friday working 09:00 to 17:00.
