**About the role**

We have an exciting new job opportunity for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to join our small but essential maintenance team working in Witham. The successful applicant will manage a small maintenance team working across the TECNIQ campus, made up of seven units ranging from office facilities to manufacturing facilities.

We are partners on ultra-premium, low-volume programmes delivering vehicle programmes for the ultra-exclusive, ultra-high-value automotive sector for automotive brands such as Mercedes-AMG, McLaren, Ford GT, Aston Martin, Pininfarina, Gordon Murray and many more on such vehicles as, amongst others, the Mercedes AMG-ONE, Pininfarina’s Battista and Aston Martin’s Valkyrie Pro.

In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net-worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high-end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.

**Roles and responsibilities**
- Reporting to the Operations Manager on the status of both work as a whole and individual projects on a regular basis.
- To drive the delivery maintenance activities within the business, the preparation, resourcing and prioritising of all jobs and liaison with colleagues on requirements, implementation and execution schedules.
- Take ownership and responsibility for relevant personnel, delegating, supporting, and carrying out maintenance projects as required.
- Ensure the immediate and proper allocation of work, and the completion of work in accordance with the ticketing system.
- Completing maintenance tasks.
- Responding to plant, equipment breakdowns and resolving related issues.
- Organising and arranging the PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) of plant and equipment.
- Supervise, appraise, coach and develop all members of the team.
- Liaising with contractors where required.
- Electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Playing an important role in the planning of new plant, upgrades and installations.
- Providing technical support and advise.
- Providing and presenting quotations for upgrades, new plant and equipment.

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to build consensus and relationships among fellow supervisors, managers, directors, and employees.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to have an in depth understanding of the applicable trades along with a proven track record and ability to overcome all natures of maintenance and repair.
- Innovative approach to problem-solving and fault finding.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure, prioritising tasks as required.
- Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity.
- Intermediate MS Office suit (especially Excel) and computer skills.
- Having the ability to work in and around working departments and keeping disruption to a minimum where possible and safe to do so.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Previous experience in supervising a maintenance team, or similar
- Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience is essential
- City and Guilds 18th Edition course is desirable
- Full driving licence
- Experience repairing and maintaining plant and equipment - including but not limited to working with CNC Machines, Compressors, Air Lines, Kuka Robot, Ducting Systems, HVAC & LEV Systems is desirable.

**Additional Information**

**Shift information**

Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pm.

(Weekend working and out of hours working will be required occasionally).

**Overtime**

Overtime is available dependent upon the successful completion of a probation period and the requirements of the business.
