A specialist commercial law firm based in Chester city centre are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their team. This is a full time permanent role.
**The Role**:
The firm are looking for an experienced Receptionist to provide an efficient and professional reception service by welcoming all visitors to the firm in a helpful and friendly manner. You will also be responsible for processing all incoming telephone callspromptly and courteously. You will be expected show a high degree of responsibility to always project the image and ethos of the firm.
**Duties include**:
The effective processing of all incoming telephone calls including the logging of calls and the conveying of messages.
The provision of telephone support to all staff members.
Make outgoing phone enquires and complete investigative work on the telephone, and/or the internet whe required.
Greet all visitors to the reception area in a friendly and professional manner.
Make appointments, arrange meetings, book meeting rooms and to maintain an up-to-date diary for all the Firm's meeting rooms.
Organise and set up meeting rooms for in house events and meetings.
Responsible for the organisation of refreshments for meetings and in house events.
Open and log all incoming post and record all cheques received.
Ensuring that the office has a regular stock of beverage and cleaning supplies, and taking responsibility for the regular replenishment of such items.
Responsible for franking all outgoing post and taking special delivery and recorded delivery items to the post office or sorting office, if required.
Preparing correspondence and documents through audio and copy typing, ensuring that such correspondence and documents are checked for errors before passing to Fee Earner.
**The successful applicant will**:
Have a minimum of 12 months experience in a receptionist role, within a professional environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Be a team player.
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Word, Excel.
Have a good understanding of the importance around confidentially and GDPR.
Good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
**Salary and Benefits**:
Salary is in the region of £19,000.00-£22,000.00, depending on experience together with an excellent benefit package.
