**What you’ll be doing**
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will primarily be responsible for all the commercial and operational aspects of contracts within your department. You will join one of our established and expanding Commercial Teams and over the course of your career at
Thames Water, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging in value from £25k to £200M. You will be commercially ensuring Thames Water meets all its contractual, legal and commercial obligations whilst engaging and advising professionalservice colleagues such as Project Engineers and Project Delivery Managers. A tenacious approach and a keen eye for detail are required whilst carrying out site measurements and pre and post tender services for our internal project teams.- £42,500 to £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
- £4,500 Car allowance
- Hybrid working - Can be based in the London area or Thames Valley
- Attend ad hoc meetings or site when required
- 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday

**We’re looking for you to**:

- Have held the position of Quantity Surveyor or had extensive experience in a commercial role covering contract management and price negotiation, dispute resolution and accurate financial reporting etc
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Have site measurement experience or similar
- Be excellent at building and maintaining relationships
- Have experience of engaging at local management level
- Hold a full UK valid driving licence and have your own transport
