Ground Worker-bricklayer

Groundworker-to join GRS Northeast ltd Team.

We are a Groundworks remedial company which is highly rated among house builders across the northeast.

We are offering a permanent position 39hrs per week.

Bricklaying skills would be an advantage for this role but not essential

Job Role:

- Setting up site including lay down areas, barriers, safety signage for all projects
- Using equipment and tools effectively to perform construction tasks
- Lay/Replace kerbs to a good standard.
- Installation of iron works, gullies and frames.
- Rebuilding raising brickwork on Manholes pre surfacing
- Following relevant health and safety procedures and risk
- Managing your own squad to reach company targets

**Requirements**:

- Good problem solving skills
- A good level of physical fitness to perform required tasks.
- Squad leader on site to reach company targets
- A valid CSCS card / Qualifications
- Driving licence
- Able to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
- Previous experience within Groundworks
- Experience of using and maintain of power tools
- Measure mark and cut construction materials
- Installation of iron works, gullies and frames using correct methods

You will have to make your own way to our yard which is based in Catchgate, Harelaw industrial estate DH9

All staff meet at unit for 6:30 - 6:45am.

**Salary**: £16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- No weekends
