**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Line managed by Co-Ordinator. Directly responsible to the Manager/Assistant Manager of Mobile Play in Action or anyone acting on his/her behalf.

Must be flexible in his/her approach to work.

Required to attend regular team meetings, supervisions and annual appraisals.

Required to participate in regular Continuous Professional Development

Required to work within Out of School Care which consists of breakfast club, afterschool care and holiday club.

Escorting children from/to Out of School Care to school.

Preparing snack for children

Responsible for planning and resourcing Out of School Care with suitable equipment to meet the developmental needs of all service users. Ensuring a suitable learning environment with a wide range of learning and play experiences within the service and also the wider environment.

To work within a team but also using your initiative to deliver a high quality, flexible, integrated out of school service which cares for and develops the child by ensuring all their individual needs are met within a safe and inclusive setting.

To undertake all tasks in full compliance with the Child Protection Guidance.

To ensure the health and safety of children in a range of childcare settings is in compliance with policy and guidance.

Respond to the physical needs of the children.

To follow all Mobile Play in Action policies and procedures alongside government legislation.

Any other duties deemed appropriate by the manager or anyone else acting on their behalf.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (required)
- Out of School Care: 1 year (required)
