A position is available for a reliable Skilled CNC Miller to join our team of precision machinists at a well-established and reputable engineering company based in Northampton. This is easily commutable in under 45 minutes from Bedford, Milton Keynes,Kettering and Rugby.
**The CNC Miller Role**:

- Set and operate CNC Milling Machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Complete 1st off, prove out and inspection.
- Meet production deadlines.
- Quality Inspection of own works.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate.

**Work as a team**
Work with daily tasks within a small team to ensure jobs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
Manage your time efficiently to meet targets and times set by other management.
Attention to detail, assisting each other.
**Workplace organisation**
Maintain own area, clean and tidy.
Ensure correct parts are produced right first time mentality and ensuring correct quantities are produced.
Be able to check other people’s work if required, with right first-time mentality.
**Any other role/task as assigned from time to time.**:

- Experience using HAAS and MAZAK machines.
- Have experience working to high standard machining tolerances.
- Mazatrol programming and setting knowledge would be beneficial.
- Solid Cam, 3D models, off board programming preferable.
- Have experience working with Ferrous and Non-Ferrous billet materials.
We require someone who is committed, conscientious and a team player, can listen to instructions but who can also think and organise themselves.Someone switched on and recognises quality. Corporate Uniform is provided.
