We are excited to present our new Freight Division, based at London Gateway, Essex. This will be a new department with ambitious growth, we are looking for an experienced Field Sales Profession with Air and Ocean Fright experience, to be the foundation for our journey and the beginning of our growth. The Freight Forwarding Field Sales is critical for the growth of our Global Freight Forwarding BOB within the related Branch Office.

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

**Contract**: Permanent

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage Book Of Business (BOB) ensuring constant growth in Volume, Revenue and Margin
- Develop and implement a personal sales plan and call cycle that incorporates initiatives for building the relationships necessary to gain new business. This is a majority hunting role however there will also be a requirement to support existing customers where appropriate.
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities with prospective new customer accounts initially targeting the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) businesses to exceed targets.
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding monthly targets and KPI’s.
- Be complaint to company policies and processes.
- Grant constant growth of the BCO composition of the above: Hunting as % of Farming
- Undertake market analysis and competitive research in the local market
- Liaise with Branch Operations in order to ensure proper SOPs are customized around client needs
- Assist BOB clients in their day by day requests related to export/import quotations/negotiations in order to ensure proper opportunity closing
- Liaise with DPW internal Network and external Partner Agents in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance to working opportunities.
- Work with the CRM system in order to properly manage personal pipeline and record activity that will be base for Field Sales Incentive Scheme.
- Stay updated about local regulations, industry, new practices and any enhancements
- Travel across the UK

**About you**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- GCSE Level or above.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Proven track record in sales field, with at least 3 years of recent and relevant sales experience in Freight Forwarding
- Freight Forwarding experience is mandatory.

**SKILLS**
- Freight Forwarding - Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry.
- Execution Sales Skills - Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow and close business opportunities ensuring the needed support from product and operations.
- Agile Skills - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines
- Computer Skills - Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Communication - Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors
- Languages - You speak and write fluent English - additional languages are a bonus, but not a must.
