Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the efficient operation of the deli counter. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment
- Follow proper food safety procedures to ensure product quality and freshness
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Upsell additional products or promotions to customers

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and fellow team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Food preparation: 1 year (required)
