**The vacancy**

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, creative, forward thinking and dedicated people to help manage our Residential Care Worker team within the Royal Blind School to ensure the children and young people receive the highest quality of care and support. Our team take pride in promoting good relationships with the children and their families to empower and encourage a sense of achievement.

You will come to us with proven experience of leading a team supporting children with Vision Impairment and Additional Support Needs, disabilities or medical conditions. Ideally, you will have excelled in this in a similar setting. Our development programme help and encourage you to develop skills in working with our clients.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team will be second nature to you as will your ability to adapt and respond positively to the unexpected. You will have a key role to play in the administration associated with care plans, rotas, health and safety and other records and in making sure everyone works within our policies and procedures.
