A well established and highly regarded manufacturing company have an exciting opportunity to head up and manage the Finance Team. The role reports to the Finance Director and is a varied role in a supportive and positive environment

**Key Duties**
- **Financial Leadership**: Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the FD and the executive team.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management reports, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate strategies to mitigate them.
- **Cash Flow Management**: Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
- **Cost Control**: Oversee cost management initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
- **Financial Compliance**: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- **Team Management**: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- **Financial Strategy**: Contribute to the development of financial strategies and business plans.
- **Vendor and Customer Relationships**: Manage financial relationships with key suppliers and customers.
- **Audit and Taxation**: Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Financial or Management Accounting qualification would be a plus
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset and strategic thinking.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,500.00 per year
