Our established client is seeking a **Content Writer**based in Knaresborough. You will be part of a friendly and committed workforce who are passionate about what they do. Your role will be to research and draft content for a wide range ofclients. This will include meeting with clients to discuss their requirements then reporting back with your findings and creating content as appropriate.

**As the successful Content Writer your duties will include**:

- Researching and drafting blogs and other website content
- Drafting social media content, primarily for LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
- Helping the PR team to identify stories, hooks and angles
- Drafting press releases and case studies
- Drafting questions to extract all relevant information
- Interviewing clients and their customers/suppliers via video call or phone
- Forming relationships with key media contacts
- Pre-placing (pitching), interviewing and writing features
- Identifying relevant forthcoming feature opportunities
- Populating client newsletters and other digital comms such as mailers
- Occasionally drafting content for client brochures and literature

**Skills**:

- Experience within journalism, publishing, content writing or in a similar role is essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be an organised individual with a high attention to detail
- You will be flexible with a positive 'can do' attitude

As the successful Content Writer you will receive a salary up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience. You will also be entitled to an annual bonus. The client is flexible on working hours, they are open to an individual working part time at a minimumof 22 hours per week through to full time at 37.5 hours per week. The client offers flexi time so you can work your hours around your commitments.
