We present an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and versatile clinical trainer to join our team of training consultants/nurse educators on a permanent full-time basis.

The successful applicant will be contracted to 37.5 hours/week 9-5 Monday to Friday with occasional evenings required.

The post will require successful applicants to deliver training on a variety of topics to clients on behalf of staff training and require use of IT, projection equipment, clinical equipment and medium fidelity patient simulators.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience in teaching, training, mentoring or coaching staff.
- A recognised training qualification or proven track record in delivering training within an organisation.
- Evidenced experience in training mandatory health & social care topics e.g., Moving & Handling, First Aid, Adult Safeguarding, Infection Control
- Excellent communication skills and motivation to improve clinical practice through exceptional training.
- Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Flexibility to travel to clients and to work occasional evenings.
- Versatility in the number of topics able to deliver.

**Desirable Criteria**:
Further credit will be given to applicants with training experience or expertise on the following:

- Registration with NMC or equivalent or a proven track record of training in the health & social care sector.
- Nursing clinical skills including topics like Phlebotomy & Venepuncture, Catheterisation, Enteral Feeding, Managing deteriorating patient or Wound care.
- OSCE preparation for overseas nurses
- NVQ assessor in Health & Social Care
- FAW, EFAW or ILS
- MAPA or equivalent.
- General patient/client care such as catheter and stoma care, nutrition and hydration, dysphagia and IDDSI.
- Mandatory training topics such as: Moving & Handling, Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Infection control, Complaints Handling, Safe Administration of Medications.
- Dementia awareness and Behaviours That Challenge.
- Topics relating to brain injury, learning disability and mental health.
- Management topics like performance management, supervision, and appraisal.
- Knowledge of the use of Articulate Storyline 360 and creation of e-learning course modules

We are looking for dynamic individuals who communicate well, have a positive attitude and a desire to inspire excellence in those attending our courses.

If you feel you have the right qualifications and skill set but are yet to develop your experience in the breadth of topics we require, we are willing to invest in the right person for the role to meet those requirements.
