**ChandlerKBS** are seeking to recruit a Senior Planner (5+ years experience) to join our Utilities team. This role will be based in our Penarth Office, with a flexible hybrid working approach.

**The role of a Senior Planner includes the following responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Senior Project Manager / Delivery Manager in the use of the full range of Project Planning Management Processes.
- Develop programmes using specialist P6 software work allowing clear visibility of key dates and milestones aligned with client delivery process.
- Obtaining the buy-in off all stakeholders as and when required.
- Provide support on day-to-day delivery of projects and assume day-to-day responsibility for planning projects and programmes of work.
- Demonstrate the ability to take on tasks without supervision whilst supporting larger projects and programmes of work as required.
- Advise on key programme parameters including productivity, critical path, interdependencies, float and risk allowances.
- Support knowledge capture, sharing and innovation.
- Support project teams during workshops where planning/ programme support is required.
- Support Project Managers in establishing programme impacts and close out of relevant contract requirements.
- Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner to a high standard of quality.
- Undertake service delivery is in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice, particularly Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Undertake service in compliance with client’s corporate governance procedures where applicable.
- Achieve all objectives as required by the annual performance review process.
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that all parties are kept informed on all relevant matters impacting and influencing projects.
- Support Senior PM and Technical team and planning team as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 5+ years’ experience.
- Industry specific degree.
- Advanced working knowledge of planning software, P6, MSP, ASTA PP.
- Oracle Primavera Cloud knowledge preferable.
- Detailed understanding of leadership techniques.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical planning matters.
- Good Technical project and planning management skills. Developed skills around following Planning Processes: Planning management and development, Resource, Risk, Opportunities and Issues, Change control, Stakeholder Management, Contract and Communications.
- Interpersonal and team building skills.
- Good Experience of planning and supporting the delivery of multiple projects and supporting major projects’ programmes of work.
- Good understanding of HS&E legislation.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
