The SSNA Programme Management Office (JPMO) integrates various aspects of technology, approvals and management arrangement and any dependencies. It is a collaborative endeavour between the Intelligent Client working jointly with Industry led by the Industrial Partners

**What you will be doing**:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
- Day-to-day leadership of the JPMO ADEs team
- Building effective relationships with ADE leads within BAES, RR, Babcock and SDA to maintain the programme Joint MDAL and support its maturation through feedback of performance trends
- Implementing effective assurance activities to provide confidence in the quality and content of ADE inputs supplied by the Parties and outputs delivered by the JPMO ADEs Team
- The establishment and continuous improvement of processes, capabilities, and tools/systems related to ADEs
- Establishing a common approach for the processing and control of ADEs to ensure consistency across all Parties

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Significant experience on major programmes with an understanding of ADEs and associated standard approaches and methodologies and toolsets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - good skills in MS Office Suite especially Powerpoint and Excel
- Desirable - knowledge of the UK Defence Sector and Submarines Enterprise
- Proactive mind-set with a can-do approach
- Has the ability to keep things simple and remove complexity - communicates with clarity, brevity and simplicity, sets simple, tangible priorities, eliminates complexity for faster customer delivery
- Explores different ways of doing things by delegating decision making effectively, exploring options to overcome obstacles and responds quickly to changing business circumstances.
