**What you'll do**

The Head of Quality Assurance will be scaling and heading up our testing, QA, and data capabilities, ensuring our platform and product solutions support us to meet our business objectives as we deliver market-leading devices to our customers in the UK, Europe and the US.
- Establish and have overall responsibility for the goals, policies, and procedures for the software quality assurance department.
- Oversee project / virtual team assignments, out-of-hours cover for operational support and workload appraisal.
- Continuous improvement of internal systems and workflows - automation, tools etc. Approves and develops analytical reports, any changes in quality assurance processes, and any reports and recommendations for software/product management.
- Coordinate with engineering department leadership on release timelines of software/products and establishing minimum release qualifications.
- Play a highly collaborative role where they work together with numerous functional teams inclusive of software/product development, operations, regulatory affairs, trials, etc. Works with the Director in ensuring that departmental requirements and standards are consistently met.
- Partner with the software/product development team throughout the product's lifecycle, ensuring quality for consumers. Works with the wider team during the development of new software/products and in establishing key quality checkpoints for new products and processes, identifying, and resolving potential issues at each stage, and guaranteeing a high-quality final product.

**What you'll bring**
- Commercial software engineering background (at least 10 years), with a track record of delivery.
- Supplier Management expertise.
- As a senior position within the department, you will demonstrate gravitas, resilience and possess great communication skills, as you will be required to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Must be quality-oriented and consumer-oriented, have an exceptionally keen eye for detail, be highly organized, be a team-builder and team player, and work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting.
