Finance Manager

I am looking for an experienced Finance Manger to initially cover a maternity leave for 12 months with the view to a permanent FC role after the 12 months as the business grows.
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working within a similar role. This position will oversee the finance function and 2 junior accounts members. There is a real opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director to develop and shapereporting and developing the system and lot of ad hoc projects to get involved with.
Responsibilities will include;
- Manage the day-to-day finance function
- Oversee payroll, VAT returns, CIS returns, bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts for review and analysis by the senior management team
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior management team to aid in long term and short-term decision making.
- Review financial data and prepare timely and accurate weekly, monthly and annual reports
- Working closely with the company accountants to assist with all reporting including management accounts, inter-company transactions, company asset purchases, etc
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
- Calculating the Monthly WIP figures
- Tracking cash flow and keeping invoicing on track
Ideally you will be immediately available or available on short notice.
This role will initially be based in the office in Rugby.
