An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Ward Administration Team at GMMH within AFS Edenfield in a role of Ward Administrator. Your duties will include supporting patients and their relatives on the Ward as well as providing a comprehensive administrative support to the multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, support workers and other professionals involved in patient care.

AFS Edenfield is based on Prestwich Hospital site providing both medium and low secure services for service users. Edenfield is a locked environment and you will be expected to carry keys. Full training will be provided.

The post holder will provide an efficient and professional service ensuring quality service to all users, their families and professionals contacting the Ward. The post holder will also be required to cover other wards within AFS Edenfield and its peripheral ward areas, to provide support during absence of other administrators.

An experience of handing money and following finance processes would be advantageous.
