We have a number of exciting and new opportunities following a recent review of the People Directorate and the creation of an HR Delivery Team. The work we do is varied and encompasses Policy, Reward and Generalist HR workstreams, no two days are ever the same. We have a number of part-time and full-time permanent vacancies across our three teams, Norfolk, Suffolk and Joint. This is a really exciting opportunity to join the team at a time of growth as we develop and enhance the exceptional HR services we provide the Constabularies.

The role will entail providing professional advice and guidance to managers and staff in all aspects of generalist people management including complex casework, policy advice, reward, change and supporting the Constabularies well-being initiatives. You will be required to nurture strong working relationships with key managers and proactively problem solve and ensure a first class and value-adding HR service.

The post can be based at either Wymondham, Norfolk or Martlesham, Suffolk. The role is categorised as a Hybrid-Homeworker and therefore is flexible in nature with homeworking options based around operational need. Travel as required across the two counties. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team who work closely together to ensure we provide a customer focussed HR service.

**It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria**:

- Level 5 Intermediate CIPD or equivalent experience (Associate)
- Ability to coach, support and advise line managers to perform their roles competently and achieve successful outcomes
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including the ability to produce and share information to help develop solutions or solve problems to mitigate risk.
- Excellent level of interpersonal skills, able to maintain discretion and communicate professionally and tactfully
- Excellent time management and planning and organisation skills
- Able to implement changes in service provision and contribute ideas and innovative solutions to improve service delivery
- Ability to travel as required to locations within Norfolk and Suffolk

**It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria**:

- Knowledge of the broader activities of the Police Service and working with Trade Unions
