In the UK, we have a substantial pipeline of over 1.5GW in development, primarily focused on Battery Storage, as we strive to become the market-leading battery storage developer in the UK.

You will collaborate with our in-house Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team, external contractors and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs), and our project development team, ensuring seamless grid connections from project initiation to delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Grid Connection Liaison: Collaborate with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to establish strong working relationships and facilitate the grid connection process.
- Network Capacity Analysis: Conduct in-depth network capacity analysis to determine the feasibility of connecting new battery storage projects to the grid. Identify potential challenges and propose solutions.
- Project Collaboration: Work in alongside with our in-house EPC and desgin team and collaborate closely with project development and land team, ensuring grid connection requirements are effectively integrated into project plans.
- Technical Support: Provide support on grid-related matters, helping to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with grid connection standards and regulations.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of all grid connection-related activities, including permits, approvals, and correspondence with DNOs and TSOs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in grid connection and renewable energy, and contribute ideas for process improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with a DNO or renewable energy developer.
- In-depth knowledge of UK grid connection regulations and procedures.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability.
