Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Berkshire

**Salary**: £80,000 per annum

Number of staff required: 2.

Additional Requirements: As soon as possible start, Band 6 - Community Role, Ongoing Contract (at least 6 months), Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00, Dysphagia trained, need their own car and be mobile - experience of adult neurology and acquired disorders. Must have at least one year's UK experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in adult patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based practices, to address communication and swallowing challenges.
- Provide specialized support to patients with dysphagia, ensuring safe and effective swallowing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.
- Offer guidance and education to patients and their families to promote communication and swallowing improvements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- Speech and Language Therapist with Band 6 level experience and dysphagia training.
- Expertise in adult neurology and acquired disorders, addressing complex speech and language challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to providing high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and efficacy in therapy interventions.
