The EMEA Head of Cybersecurity covers all countries and organisations within the Region. The position is accountable for the Regional Programs and responsible for the execution of the Regional and Country IS Strategy and; reports directly to the ICG CISO(Chief Information Security Officer) and has a matrix reporting line to the EMEA O&T Head.- Develop strategy and manage the IS Programs in close collaboration with CISO organisation and Regional Management
- Interface with global sector heads and project leads to roll out and implement policy requirements
- Provide regular updates on the state of Information Security to the Boards of Directors for each Legal Vehicle based in the Region
- Ensure a strong understanding across the Region of the IS Policy, identification of Internal, Regulatory, Reputational and Compliance gaps and provide appropriate consultation to the businesses about options for resolution
- Provide oversight over IS related Reviews and interact with regulators and auditors on reviews of technology platforms
- Provide regular updates on Citi's IS strategy, posture, programs and evolution to all regulators within the region
- Ensure effective management of the IS programs including metrics to provide early and timely detection, reporting, escalation and remediation of Risks and unresolved issues
- Continually explore and implement solutions to efficiently manage the IS programs and simplify the processes
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industry knowledge about how the disciplines of IS Controls collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals
- Collaborates with senior business leaders to achieve Global IS program goals and objectives.
- Builds relationships with management to garner support and raise the profile of information security teams in the business
- Develop and support program management staff to support the EMEA IS Programs
- Manage and provide guidance to project management and program support staff on areas of IS responsibilities
- Liaises with business heads regarding IS issues and their business impact
- Ensures business compliance with IS policies, practices, and procedures
- Provides oversight to ensure that processes and projects are completed in a timely manner
- Monitors CAPs and remediation efforts in response to security events, assessment and audit results
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of all IS programs and initiatives in the Region
- Influences and negotiates with senior leaders across functions. Participates and communicates with professional external parties as needed
- Develops Global IS talent
- Engage with Clients in partnership with business to maintain and enhance relationships leveraging cybersecurity expertise
