Learning Support Assistant - LSA

LSA required to work with several pupils with additional needs in a leading Hertfordshire Secondary School - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire - January 2023 - Long-term to permanent basis - £80 to £85 per day.

Tradewind Hertfordshire are working with a leading and selective school to appoint LSA's to work with a variety of students with various, moderate / mild requirements to assist them on their educational journey.

**LSA - Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire - £80 to £85 p/day depending on experience

**ASAP interviews and start - Long-term to permanent contract post - ideal for those looking to progress onto further training or move onto teacher training in the future.

**School offers a well established SLT with a history of successfully training exceptional Early Career Teachers with a centralised CPD team and schemes into teacher training.

About the School - SEN TA / LSA

Tradewind continues to work in partnership with this large Secondary Academy backed by a leading Trust of Schools across Hertfordshire and North London. LSA's are required at their Hemel site to work with various pupils and support the SEN Teams. Supportingpupils, mainly in key stages 3, you will be responsible for promoting learning, helping raise attendance and supporting the school and sen teams where required. Maths and literacy skills are key as is the ability to converse with pupils of all abilities. Forthose with experience or confidence you maybe asked to lead small groups of 3-6 of pupils grouped by ability. The eagerness to immerse yourself into school life, extra curricular activities or sporting events will be advantageous.

Role requirements - SEN TA / LSA
- We are looking for staff with an obvious passion to support and help pupils with special needs.
- Ideally with experience of SEN in an education or youth work basis however full training is available for those without expedience
- Be available to work 8:30-3:30 Monday - Friday during term time until July 2023 as year as consistency is key for these pupils and the school
