Apprentice Laboratory Technician

Liquidsun is a premium manufacturer of food supplements in Tablet, Capsule and Powder forms. Following on from the success of previous apprentices, Liquidsun UK are looking to bring on 2 new apprentices to join the quality control department.

This role is perfect for anyone who wants to develop a career in manufacturing, quality, and compliance.

Some of following core activities include:

- Assisting the QC Manager in the running of quality control functions
- Performing hygiene checks before production starts
- Preparing raw materials for testing, including identification and sampling of capsules, tablets, liquids
- Recording information using our ERP system for the generation of quality documentation and traceability
- Calibrating apparatus for testing
- Ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and future requirements are identified
- General laboratory maintenance
- Disposing of waste materials
- Carrying out and following risk assessments for technician activities

The Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3 Laboratory Technician) provides individuals with a sound knowledge base that can support them in undertaking further learning and development of their careers.

- Starting salary of £12,000 per year
- Working pattern is Monday - Friday 8:00-16:00 (if any overtime is required, will give time in lieu).
