Ils Consultant

**Introduction**:
**This role will allow some hybrid working but it will be project dependant meaning you may need to spend some weeks fully onsite.**

**My client is a large defence consultancy who specialise in producing some of the most technologically advanced products used in the military.**

**They are looking for an experienced ILS consultant to advice business functions on the implementation of ILS activities.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support projects by identifying and managing ILS risks.
- Carry out system supportability analysis.
- Ensure that supportability and support-related design factors are considered during the design process.
- Produce and amend of manuals to various formats, i.e. AESPs, COTS manuals.

**Skills & experience**:

- Experience in Defence or highly regulated environments.
- Experience with support methods for specialised products
- Familiarity with support standards like ASD S-Series, DEF STAN, and Mil Std.
- Understanding of MOD support systems.
- Experience writing technical documents.
