**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To securely pack all items to be delivered and to affix address labels and despatch notes
- To always keep the stores area clean and tidy
- To sign in and inspect any goods delivered to the stores area and file all delivery notes.
- To check all certification for goods inward and file
- To be responsible for recording all certification into the company’s IMS system
- To check that parts in the building correspond with the stock items in SAGE
- To allocate product to spares orders via SAGE
- To pick and pack orders (with the exception of dangerous goods)
- To load orders as requested by the CAC’s/Workshop Team according to priority
- To book in stock items and allocate goods using Sage
- To restock returned goods from the workshop
- To use in a responsible manner, the company’s fork lift truck when moving goods.
- To work at all times within the guidelines of the SSI Health & Safety policy.
- To attend daily meetings in order to prioritise the stores workload
- To receive and pass to workshop all offshore tooling for checking and storing
- Stock holding of customer held parts

**KEY SKILLS**
- A presentable and confidant person with good communication skills
- A willingness to be flexible and adaptable
- A willingness to undertake training in line with SSI’s continuous professional development plans
- A commitment to completing the SVQ apprenticeship with support from the Operations Manager and external assessor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: From £6.40 per hour
