Transactional Human Resources Officer (THR Officer)

Contract: Permanent - Full Time - Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Sefton Council’s Transactional HR Team to appoint a 36 hour THR Officer.

The role includes the following activities:

- To help support and maintain the organisation structure.
- To assist with recruitment activity
- To maintain progress of pre-employment checks
- To ensure that correct documentation is provided to new starters.

THR plays a key role in carrying out quality and assurance checks to ensure accuracy and that people are paid in a timely manner. THR officers are responsible for responding to internal and external queries and for promoting good customer relations, updating stakeholders to ensure an efficient and effective service delivery. The role is fast paced and much of the work is deadline driven.

This position will be office based in Magdalen House Bootle but offers some agile working and flexible working once you are adequately trained in the role.
