**Gardener/Maintenance Assistant-Bank**

Royal Court is a 40 bedded Care Home for the Elderly in Hoyland, Barnsley.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a gardener/maintenance person to join our team.

This role will support our individuals to participate in general maintenance task around the Home, as well as upkeep of the grounds and gardens.

You will be expected to deal with a range of projects including:

- Minor plumbing /carpentry and general repairs
- Maintaining Grounds and gardens - Seasonal preparations - for example preparing for Winter, cold weather, Snow or in Summer responding to heatwaves, high temperatures.
- Installation of domestic appliances and maintaining - Fitting shelves, hanging pictures, painting and general DIY

Previous practical experience preferred.

**What we offer;**
- All required training will be provided.
- Flexibility on days and hours worked, as agreed with Registered Manager

Pay rate is £9.50.

**This post is currently bank; however, may well lead to a permanent contract in the future**.
