**HVAC Engineer**

**Location**: Slough**,**SL1 4LG
**Salary**: £34 - £36k per annum + overtime at flat rate where authorised
**Contract**:Full Time, Permanent

**What’s on offer?**
- 40hrs / week (0730hrs to 1630hrs with unpaid lunch)

- Callout - eventually will be 1 in 4 (weeks)

**HVAC Engineer - The Role**:
We are looking for a qualified FGAS1 engineer to maintain the onsite air conditioning and refrigeration, with the odd install.

This however is not a full-time job so the other elements of our contract include;
- AHU maintenance
- Duct maintenance
- PSSR maintenance
- TMV maintenance

**HVAC Engineer - Key Objectives**:

- Undertaking preparatory work for PPM regimes, in accordance with H&S, SSW, Method statements and Risk Assessments
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness for the working environment, van and workshop area
- Inspecting, testing, certificating and commissioning
- Identifying and rectifying faults
- Providing functional and technical information to customers
- Maintaining effective working relationships with fellow workers
- Overseeing work activities and other tasks deemed necessary to fulfil the client’s contract
- Pressure testing
- Safety valve setting
- TMV cleaning
- AHU maintenance
- Duct cleaning
- Help maintain the FGAS log to the standards required by Refcom

**HVAC Engineer - What we need from you**:
We require an experienced FGAS1 qualified service engineer with excellent communication skills to be able to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.

At each quarterly review, training will be discussed and provided based on your needs.

**Key Competencies**
- Full driving licence
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety
- The ability to follow technical drawings, building plans and other instructions
- The ability work carefully, methodically and safely
- The ability measure accurately
- Be analytical with good evaluation skills
- Be comfortable working at heights and prepared to work in all weather conditions
- Be willing to work in confined spaces
- Be Presentable with a pleasant manner
- Be an excellent communicator with good written skills
- Be a good team player but also able to work on own initiative
- Be able to adapt to change
- Display excellent problem-solving skills
- Be adaptable and flexible within the working environment

**Essential**:

- HVACR Competency
- Proven Heating and air conditioning service and maintenance experience
- Refrigeration maintenance experience
- Air con installation experience

**Desirable**:

- PASMA - Scaffolding Course
- IPAF - Powered Access License
- F Gas 2079
