Groundworker / Dumper Driver

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Groundworker to join our dynamic construction team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for a range of manual tasks associated with the preparation and completion of construction projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the groundwork is laid for successful project completion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing construction sites by cleaning the area, removing debris, and leveling the ground.
- Assisting in digging trenches and setting up foundation and drainage systems.
- Operating a variety of machinery and tools, such as jackhammers, compactors, and concrete mixers.
- Laying concrete, asphalt, and other materials for pavements and roads.
- Collaborating with other construction professionals, following directions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Assisting in the installation of utilities like water and gas lines, and electrical cables.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Groundworker or similar role in construction.
- Familiarity with construction machinery and hand tools.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans (desirable but not essential).
- A valid CSCS card.
- Dumper or Roller Ticket
- Good teamwork skills and a strong work ethic.

Pay: £11.00-£20.66 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
