Dispensing Optician

Are you exceptional at frame styling and sales? Robert Glass Opticians has a position for a part-time Dispensing Optician in our flagship practice. Join our dispensing team to provide a high quality individualised customer care experience.
As a team, we are passionate about providing excellent customer service. Whether customers are attending for routine optical care or a spectacle makeover, we go out off our way to create an exceptional optical journey.
Ideally you will be an experienced Dispensing Optician with at least three years of optical retail experience, but more importantly you will be both a motivated and skilled communicator who is able to show genuine enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer care.
This vacancy is to cover 2-3 days per week including Saturdays.
Remember one exceptional experience can turn our customers into loyal brand advocates. You will be tenacious and determined to help our customers achieve their frame styling goals. In many cases, this will require you to be creative and come up with unique solutions to our customer's requirements.
Your skills set will include;
- Dispense to a high level and be excellent at sales.
- Be fashion conscious.
- Passionate about eyewear styling
- Be personable and professional.
- Be interested in progression within the company
- Have an interest in our frames and products
- Work well in a small team, prepared to work on your own at times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Dispensing Optician (GOC registered)
- Strong knowledge of frame and lens dispensing and brand awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
