We are looking for an apprentice to work within an engineering team and work towards a qualification whilst gaining valuable experience. The role will involve working with waste water pumps within a Service workshop.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Repair and service pumps as instructed on Works Orders
- Test pumps to ensure they perform within tolerances specified
- To carry out bi-annual stock checks as required by management
- Communicate to the Production Supervisor any process deficiencies and/or breakdowns
- Picking stock as required on Works Orders and also pack away stock
- To attend and actively participate in team meetings, normally held on a monthly basis
- To ensure your work area is a safe and tidy place to work
- Assist colleagues in the assembly of a variety of pumps, as required
- Any other duties, within your capabilities, as required by Management

**Qualifications Required**:
5 GCSES Grades 4 to 9 (A* to C) or equivalent including Maths & English Language

40 Hours a week

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch unpaid

£16,000 per annum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £16,000.00 per year
