You will be key support for the business providing a finance leadership role in strategic and business planning and reporting.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Finance Business Partner within the Planning and Analysis team you will focus on business planning and executive decision support. This role will be crucial in ensuring delivery of business performance in accordance with Yodel's strategic plan. You will play an important role in embedding a culture of Finance welcomed as a trusted business partner throughout the business. In addition to these duties, you will be responsible for the following:

- Preparing weekly and monthly reporting for the CFO/Executive team and shareholders, as well as external stakeholders
- Key point of contact and owner in maintaining and coordinating the Master File for the annual Budget process and any subsequent re-forecasts. Owner of Budget timetable
- Support in preparing slides to be distributed across the business to Exec level, explaining Budgets/Forecasts
- Assist the Finance and Executive leadership teams in driving acceptable financial performance from the business and increasing financial (including cash) awareness in non-financial managers
- Be a strong advocate for adherence to Yodel financial policies and procedures, maintaining financial and cash control and governance throughout the business
- Production of high-quality strategic analysis and support of the business planning and forecasting processes, increasing understanding of business performance
- Support the CFO, Head of FP&A, Director of Finance Commercial and FP&A, Treasury and Director of Financial Control in reporting on and maintaining an acceptable level of financial risk (profit, cash, balance sheet)
- You will be a key member of a team engaged in high quality and broad business periodic and ad-hoc reporting, planning and analysis of Yodel business performance, providing guidance on key trends and pro-actively identifying opportunities to arrest adverse trends, build on positive trends and improve business performance
- Work in partnership with the Head of Finance (Operations) and Head of Finance (Commercial) in providing a periodic and ad-hoc analysis and reporting service to ensure appropriate understanding of critical business performance levers and KPIs

**What you need to show us**:

- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Experience of working in an FP&A function in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Strong Excel skills, to be able to maintain large Excel files and use those to provide clear analysis of the business' financial performance and to manipulate large volumes of data
- Proactive in looking for opportunities to drive improvements
- Experience of preparing reports and presentations for an Executive level audience
