**Finance Business Partner**

**Worcester based with a balance of home and office working**

**35 hours per week**

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our Property Services Finance team in Worcester as a Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, this will be a key role responsible for management accounting, financial modelling and analysis of major cost lines relating to reactive repairs, with the aim of driving informed business decision making. This role will suit an individual who thrives on taking ownership of your remit, is forward thinking, analytical and already has experience working in a complex, fast paced finance team. Identifying improvements in process and following these through to implementation will also be key to be successful in the role.

**The Role of Finance Business Partner will include**:

- Reporting monthly spend and providing commentary and variance analysis.
- Posting of journals and reviewing results within your remit together with contributing to the production of the monthly Property Services Management Accounts
- Driving process change to facilitate better ways of working, increasing automation where possible
- Reacting to business change and producing detailed financial modelling, working alongside both finance and operations, ensuring that business needs are met.
- Communicating regularly with senior Property operations teams but also key stakeholders from all levels across the business, using non-financial jargon where necessary.
- Undertaking ad hoc, complex, and detailed financial analysis/scenario planning and business cases.
- Producing reports on internal and external data and assisting with making recommendations to support decision making and planning.
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of practical business process models to drive business efficiencies.

**Skills and experiences**:

- Recent experience of working in a similar finance environment.
- Previous experience of automating processes and reporting.
- Experience of complex scenario planning and financial modelling.
- Strong communicator with experience of working with stakeholders and challenging value for money.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems whilst also identifying solutions.
- Analytical thinker, with strong knowledge of financial regulations, legislation, and current practice.
- Ability to be organised and work effectively in a large, fast paced, complex working environment.
- Knowledge of financial systems e.g. SAP and BPC.
- Advanced Excel skills together with being a proficient user of Microsoft packages including Outlook and Word
- Fully or part qualified, working towards a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification.
