We are working in partnership with a mental health charity in Surrey, who aim to transform the lives and futures of adults managing their mental ill-health and help them to secure the skills, confidence and the training needed to return to the workplace. They provide a range of support from 1-to-1 counselling, through to a wide variety of wellbeing activities, which increase confidence and reduce social isolation, to training and participation in one of their social enterprises to develop new skills and employability. As the need for good mental health support grows, so do their funding needs and ambitions.

They are seeking a **Trust Fundraiser** who will be responsible for overseeing all trusts and grants fundraising from major charitable funders, statutory sources & the National Lottery. This well-established role comes with a pipeline of existing funder commitments but will also offer the postholder the opportunity to cultivate and secure new funder relationships. The postholder will be responsible for writing high quality and compelling funding bids, managing funder relationships, and managing all grant-related reporting. The postholder will lead trusts and grants fundraising and will be encouraged to use their experience and skills to shape the fundraising strategy.
- Experience in a trusts/foundations/grants fundraising role
- Experience of statutory & Lottery funding is desired
- Experience of undertaking monitoring and reporting to funders
- The ability to maintain and build long-term relationships with existing and new funders
- Experience of CRM ACT or similar relationship database, and strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook)

We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the confidence to undertake public speaking when required. Excellent time management and project planning skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines will be essential.
