Steward/stewardess

Penrith Conservative Club is a private members’ club which has been established over 140 years. We have three bars, a function room with a 200 person capacity and a small restaurant, ‘1882’, with 35 covers. We have snooker and pool rooms each with two tables. We serve lunches and provide catering facilities for all private and members’ functions. The club’s pre-covid annual turnover was in excess of £350,000. Over the last few years we have invested over £75,000 in the refurbishment of bars and an outside beer garden.

The salary will be in the region of £25,000, plus benefits, split between the two, plus a 7.5% share of all food and buffet sales. We would expect these sales to be in excess of £75,000 per annum. The cost of all food purchased will be covered by the club.

A 3 bedroomed house, adjacent to the club, is supplied where all household bills (except telephone) are covered. We will also contribute to a pension scheme. In all, these benefits are in excess of £15,000 per annum.
