This will be a hybrid position based **2 days per week** in either our **East Leake, Binley** or **Elland** offices.

- ITIL Foundation qualified
- Proven experience in working in a similar role.
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of change and release management principles
- Strong time management and efficiency skills, organised and delivery focused
- Excellent planning skills, and process driven
- Knowledge and experience of using a Service Management Tool to manage changes
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict and able to work effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; a sound influencer with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Able to build good working relationships with other areas of IT, stakeholders and suppliers
- Documentation and/or process writing experience
- Desirable_
- Experience of using Service-Now, JIRA and Confluence

**What will I be required to do in the role?**

**The IT Change and Release Manager is responsible for providing full lifecycle engagement and support to internal colleagues and suppliers to ensure that all change and release activity is risk and impact assessed, scheduled, monitored, and releasedefficiently and effectively.**
- Understand the criticality of supported systems to a level where the commercial business impact of a change can be understood, leading to the appropriate level of action and priority being given to the change process
- To take ownership of and lead the change management process, and to ensure continual improvement
- Convene and chair the change advisory board meetings, ensuring that the agenda is published ahead of the meeting and that there is a known submission process for new changes to be reviewed
- Create regular change reports to ensure changes are visible and effectively managed
- Manage and publish the Forward Schedule of Change (FSC) to ensure that this is visible and that new changes can be effectively scheduled to minimise risk
- Build relationships with representatives in key business areas to understand how systems are used throughout the business
- Work with Digital and IT Services teams to ensure a good level of awareness and adherence to the change process, and that an early view of project-driven change can be provided within the FSC
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure that change notifications for supplier-led changes are acted upon and published in the FSC
- Collect and analyse operational data (especially incident and change records) to identify emerging trends or post-change issues
- Revise and maintain a Change Management plan, policies, processes, and procedures that reflect ITIL best practices
- Provide individualised instruction for IT teams on key change management process areas, associated templates, and procedures
- Operate and maintain the Change Management module and associated interfaces in ServiceNow
- Create performance reports on a weekly/monthly basis displaying activities, KPI's, SLA's management information, highlights and lowlights
