**About the role**

Balfour Beatty are looking for a confident and engaging
**Health & Safety Advisor** to join our Living Places Team based in

**What you'll be doing**
- Deliver our Zero Harm Action Plan.
- Support and undertake targeted inspections of HSW management.
- Prepare and present safety briefings.
- Deliver behavioural safety training based on project needs.
- Attend safety meetings to influence management team action.
- Support incident investigations, ensuring incidents are dealt with effectively with actions tracked to close out.
- Support the delivery of appropriate and adequate HSW training based on Project needs.

**Who we're looking for**
- Team player with a desire to make a difference
- Professional qualification in health and safety (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)
- Membership of IOSH and experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role.
- 2-3 years H&S experience ideally within a construction / engineering background
- Clean, full driving license.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel & Word) in order to review data and prepare representative graphs.
- Confident and engaging professional looking to drive a proactive culture.
