We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Strategic Weapon System (SWS) specialist to join an established team that assesses UK submarine SWS performance. You will have SWS engineering experience, alongside strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills. Experience of maritime or weapon system analytics would be highly benficial.

If working in this field excites you and you want to enhance your potential, MASS would like to hear from you. The role does require some travel, both within the UK and US. We provide our staff with specialist training supplied in-house and through our international defence partnerships.

**How you’ll support us**
- Provide specialist insight on the design, operation and/or maintenance of the SWS.
- Analyse weapon system performance, communicating outputs to various stakeholders.
- Innovate and develop techniques to identify SWS equipment failures.
- Determine system reliability and performance trends through studies and projects.

**The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve more**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of SWS engineering (design, operations or maintenance).
- Experience of working with data, in an established team environment, to understand how it can help an organisation make better decisions.
- A natural curiosity, methodical and prodigious at solving problems with high-quality solutions.
- High standards of written, verbal and presentational communication skills.
- Confident working individually or leading a small team on an analysis task.
- Willingness to travel within UK and to US.

Due to the highly-secure nature of the projects you will be involved with, you must be eligible to work in the UK and be eligible to undergo and maintain UK government DV Security Clearance.
