**Racking Inspector**
**Location**:Field based - Nationwide.

We are looking for a Racking Inspector to manage a small team of racking inspectors and coaching them to become SEMA approved. You will also manage projects in relation to client racking inspections and effectively managing client relationships with new and existing clients and Responsible for the P&L of the racking team.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will control your own diary and schedule your own client visits. Ensuring high quality inspections are delivered on time and within contract SLAs.
**Resp**onsibilities include**:
- Lead the team on the most effective and productive way to fulfil the awarded contracts
- Train and coach the team to be capable of attaining SEMA approved racking inspector
- Provide a high level of technical expertise within your area of expertise to both internal and external clients
- Proactively implement the technical standards, training documents & service levels for Bureau Veritas
- Responsible for maintaining the work load to ensure the department has sufficient work load.
- Technical surveys for clients to enable contract proposals to be developed and issued.
- Seek areas for improvement and build the racking inspection work and in turn the team
- Build on and maintain existing relationships with clients.
- Manage the P&L for the racking inspection department
- Build the standards and procedures within the department to enable UKAS accreditation
**Requirements for the rol**:
- SEMA Approved Racking Inspector (SARI) [E]
- SEMA Cantilever module
- Hold a current U.K. driving license [E]
- Experience as a SARI [E]
- Preparation of comprehensive reports for racking inspections [E]
- Management of contracts [E]
- Computer literate[E]
- Strong communication skills[E]
- Knowledge of market, industry trends, developments, and changes in legislation [E]
- Experience in delivery of training [D] - Management of P&L account [D]
