Job Description
Fugro are now recruiting a Yard Supervisor to join our team in Harelaw. You will be responsible for Co-ordinating and managing the day to day operations within the depot. Working with the operations coordinator to plan inbound and outbound Yard and Warehouse activities to support all Land Drilling Operations. You will be responsible for supervising teams of Yard, warehouse and drill crew staff to ensure operations are carried out promptly. Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximise the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided.

Who you’ll be working with:
Working closely with the Consett and Harelaw employees as well as service line managers and supply chain personnel. You will also be working with external suppliers.
Here’s what a typical day would be like:
- Taking part in team toolbox talk prior to shift activities
- Ensure stores are checked for equipment list shortages.
- Collate Equipment for equipment lists
- Minimise wastage of consumables returned from site
- Supervise stores staff to ensure equipment coming back in is managed according to the system.
- Responsible for day to day supervision and performance management of Depot Yard Staff.
- Ensure Permit to work is completed where appropriate
Who we’re looking for:
Essential
- General computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Strong communication, teamwork, planning and problem-solving skills
- Adaptive to changing context of work tasks
- Ability to work in a safe and risk aware manner
Desirable
- Experience of working in a similar role
