Quality Inspector

Allied International are the world’s largest manufacturer of butt-weld fittings & flanges for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Nuclear markets. We are currently looking for a quality inspector for our Grangemouth manufacturing facility on a full-time contract.

Job Responsibilities:
Inspect and approve incoming materials by dimensional & visual checks.

Inspect 1st off, patrol and final finished product of in house manufactured items

Document inspection results and record production defects.

Assist with third party inspection

Control of components requiring Non-Destructive Testing.

Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Quality Inspector Qualifications/Skills:
Written and verbal communication skills

Basic math skills

Basic computer skills

Attention to detail

Documentation skills

Reporting skills

Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience with quality control in an engineering environment.

Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
