**Job Title: Medical Acupuncturist**
**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and relevant diagnostic tests, to develop accurate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient needs, utilising osteopathic techniques such as manual adjustments, soft tissue manipulation, mobilisation, and stretching exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on self-care techniques, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment effectiveness and promote long-term health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to provide integrated and coordinated care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
- Stay abreast of current research, advancements, and best practices in the field of osteopathy to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities, including attending conferences, workshops, and training programs, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
- Foster positive patient relationships, providing empathetic and respectful care to ensure patient satisfaction and retention.
**Qualifications**:
- Medical Acupunture Registered Qualification
- Proven experience as an Medical Acupuncture, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Adherence to ethical standards and a patient-centered approach to care.
