Stores Person

**LondonEnergy** are currently looking to recruit a **Stores Person** for our head office in Edmonton, North London.

As the **Stores Person** you will provide an efficient stores operation providing day to day support.

As the **Stores Person** you are also responsible for:

- To conduct purchasing activities if required.
- To ensure the warehouse is in as safe and clean condition as is possible all the time.
- Goods issuing when required for all company staff as well as outside contractors.
- To receive goods from suppliers, checking the items match to the delivery note supplied and reporting and discrepancies to the appropriate person.
- Receipting the purchase order once it has been checked using the hand-held device as well as on the company operating system Microsoft D365
- To carry out all reasonable requests from your line managers.
- To assist in a warehouse stock-take when required
- Unloading/loading of vehicles manually or with mechanical assistance as appropriate e.g., Forklift, Crane.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Previous experience within a warehouse environment using both goods receipting and goods issuing methods is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in an Engineering Stores position would be beneficial - OEM, Utilities
- Driving license for forklift truck preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of plant spares is preferred but not essential.
- Willing to accept any training given.
- Prepared to work weekends as part of the warehouse Rota. And cover shifts when required by your manager.
- Experience of stock control and rotation
